Who we need

Reporting to the Associate Director, Enrolment Management, the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for document management, ensuring our Admissions Advisors have the materials and tools needed to be successful in recruiting students, and liasoning with the Registrar’s Office to make sure policies are followed. This position administers/processes/assists/provides services to Admissions Advisors and Leadership, and looks for ways to improve the student and/or colleague experience, in alignment with our corporate strategic imperatives. Specific responsibilities include: document handling, compiling applicant files, data maintenance, and preparing reports as needed. Contributes to a working environment where all team members can be their best selves, grow and thrive, to support our corporate mission of championing student success. 

What you will do

  • Actively supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of the Admissions team, to support the corporate strategic imperatives.
  • With the support of other team members and leadership, participating in small projects within the Admissions team.
  • Actively participating in the collection, review and analysis of documents and data, the adherence to policies, procedures and programs, and working with applicable applications to support the responsibilities of the Admissions process.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in other teams on cross-functional projects and initiatives, to support the strategic imperatives.
  • Contributing to a positive corporate culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning, and wellness.

What you bring

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in the Administrative Field and/or Education Industry, including experience with working in various CRMs, dealing with confidential information, and operating under specific deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or international equivalent).
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in time management, prioritization and providing support in a goal oriented environment.
  • Experience working in fast paced settings considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams).
